Arokodare, Chukwueze beat transfer deadline, move to Premier League

Arokodare signed a four-year contract with an option for a further season with English club, Wolverhampton.

Nigerian internationals,Tolu Arokodare,  Samuel Chukwueze and Christantus Uche have moved to the English Premier League (EPL).  

Following the closure of the summer transfer market, Wolves confirmed the signing of Arokodare from Genk in a £24m deal.

The 24-year-old, who stands at 6ft 6in, signed a four-year contract with an option for a further season with the English outfit. 

The number of Nigerian players at Fulham also increased with the arrival of Samuel Chukwueze from Serie A club, AC Milan on loan.

He will be playing alongside international team-mates Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi at Craven Cottage.

Apart from this, Super Eagles Midfielder,  Christantus Uche secured a loan move from La Liga club, Getafe to Crystal Palace till the end of this season.

Uche is expected to take the spot of England attacking midfielder, Eberechi Eze, who has left the club to London rivals, Arsenal.

Another Nigerian international, Victor Boniface, also sealed a loan deal before the deadline day in another league.

After failing to join AC Milan, the club he supported as a boy, the striker signed for Werder Bremen on a one-year loan deal from Bayer Leverkusen.
