The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Area “B” Command, Apapa, Lagos on Thursday, July 20, 2023, elected new Executive officers to pilot the affairs of the committee for four years effective from the date of the election.
The election was conducted by the Lagos State PCRC Electoral Committee Chairman/State Treasurer, Prince Taiwo Oyeniyi.
Other members of the committee were the State Financial Secretary, Mrs Hellen Animashahun, Otunba Kunle Onafekan, Pastor Oladele Adebayo, the Chairman 7th PCRC Bi-annual Conference 2023/S.A. to the State Chairman, Comrade Aranju with State DGS, Mr Jude Udoh Esq. who stood in for the State PCRC Chairman, Apostle Kehinde Showemimo.
The election of the fourteen executive officers was witnessed by the Area Bravo Commander, ACP Baba Mallam Alhaji who waited patiently till the end of the elections.

The election was very peaceful and without rancor. The State Electoral Committee chairman, Prince Taiwo Oyeniyi, thanked the entire members of Area”B” Command PCRC for electing another capable chairman in person of Pastor Cornel Okwesilieze who is also doing a tremendous job as Deputy Chairman of the 7th PCRC Bi-annual Conference 2023, at the State level.
He described the immediate outgone chairman Pastor Timothy Adekunjo as a perfect ambassador of Area B Command at the State.

The former Area ‘B’ PCRC chairman, Pastor Timothy Adekunjo in his farewell speech gave Glory to God Almighty for handing over chairmanship alive and not on death. He urged the incoming executives to fully support the new administration of Pastor Cornel Okwesilieze as he was also supported.
In recognition of the PCRC friendly support of the Area B Commander, ACP Baba Mallam Alhaji, presentation of Gifts from the PCRC, Layeni division was presented to the Area Bravo Commander by the PCRC Chairman representative Mr Jude Udoh in collaboration with the state electoral committee members.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected PCRC Area “B” Command chairman Pastor Cornel Okwesilieze, and on behalf of other elected officers, thanked the House for the trust and confidence reposed on them to pilot the affairs of the command for four years.
Meanwhile, the Area Bravo Commander, ACP Baba M. Alhaji thanked the command for the Gifts presented to him. He also thanked the entire house for the big honour given to him. He promised continuous support for the PCRC and gave his contact number
