Worried by the incessant calamities in the country, the District Superintendent of Apostolic Faith Church in West and Central Africa, (WECA), Rev. (Dr) Isaac Adigun has encouraged Christians to be strong and courageous saying that God protection will surely be upon them.
Rev. Adigun paid a visit to Ondo State District of the Apostolic Faith Church at Ijoka Akure today as part of his working visit to Ekiti Region.
He said “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Ps. 46:1) saying “as we make the Lord our city of refuge and allow Him to put us upon His shoulders, He becomes our “very present help” even if we encounter trouble.
The entourage which was received by the Ondo State District Overseer, Rev. Joseph Aro include Rev. Adigun, his wife, Sister Stella Adigun, and the Region Overseer Ondo and Ekiti States and Rev. Akinwumi Ajayi.
His Words: “Though we live in a world with danger and evil, we have a God that loves us and promises to protects us. You can trust that God will care for you and keep you safely in His arms.
Rev. Adigun however admonished Christians to ask God for protection always in prayer noting that prayers for safety to God will surely bring us comfort and peace of mind.
“God said, fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
“All evil will passed over us, all calamity will passed over us, nothing in Jesus name, nothing by the grace of God will happen to us because we have confidence in God.
He therefore thanked members of Apostolic Faith Church in Ondo State for their hospitality saying “We have testimonies that God is moving fast in Ondo State and He has been faithful with our people here.
“We have seen what God has done here because we have people of God here. We are extremely glad”, he added.
