APC, NDE partner to empower 50 women in Niger

The women wing of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State is partnering the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) to train 50 women on how to produce various spices to boost not only immune system of Nigerlites against diseases but for their economic self-reliant.

APC Woman leader in Niger state, Hajiya Fatima Mustapha, disclosed this at the commencement of the training programme in Minna.

She said the training was aimed at encouraging the women on how to take care of themselves and their immediate families against coronavirus.

“This training on how to make spices will surely keep them busy and as well benefit them economically instead of sitting at home idling away time”, Fatima Mustapha said as she applauded the Governor Abubarkar Sani Bello-led administration to carrying women along in governance by recognizing their importance as partners in progress.

On the development, Niger State Coordinator of NDE, Alhaji Abdulmalik Liman Abubakar, applauded the APC woman leader for the initiative, which, according to him, is a partnership that will stand the test of time.
