The betrayal of Pere, by his best friend and ally, Saga, is no longer news, as the relationship between the two has since degenerated and they are barely tolerating each other in the house.
The backbiting became evident after Biggie placed a video clip showing Saga, and his love interest, Nini, calling Pere, senseless and untrustworthy.
It also revealed Saga referring to Pere as suicidal and lonely individual, who ought to request a voluntary exit from the game. He also accused him of trying to force a friendship with him.
Speaking to Pere, in the garden on Thursday, Angel said she understood how hurtful it must have been for him to see a man whom he called a friend backbiting him. She also advised him to ‘shine his eyes.’’ and be careful henceforth.
“That was a lot especially coming from your friend (Saga), you need to shine your eye. We all know you’re an instigator, some jokes you make, some people take them seriously and turn them to something serious. You need to be conscious about what you say. I’m sure you do it unconsciously but other people don’t find it funny.
“I understand how you feel, it’s so bad for it to come from a friend but we would soon be out of here. Just be careful with him,” Angel said.
Ebuka, the host of the show, had earlier hinted queried Saga’s loyalty during last Sunday’s eviction show. However, the betrayer by his friend became more conspicuous after watching the video clip played by Big Brother.
