Ancelotti with the feat surpasses Miguel Muñoz, who managed Real Madrid from 1959 to 1974 and won 14 trophies

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has become the most successful gaffer in the history of the Spanish club after beating Mexican team, Pachuca 3-0 to win the FIFA Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday night.
Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo all scored a goal each as Los Blancos clinched their latest piece of silverware.
The result means, the Italian tactician now has a record-breaking 15th trophy with the La Liga giants across two spells.
It also meant Madrid are now the most successful club in the competition with four titles. It also won in 1960, 1998 and 2002.

In total, Ancelotti has now won three Champions League trophies, two La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys, two Spanish Supercopas, three UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups, and the Intercontinental Cup.
With the feat, the 65-year-old surpassed Miguel Muñoz, who managed Real Madrid from 1959 to 1974 and won 14 trophies during that time, including nine league titles and two European Cups.
Pachuca on the other hand, has never won the tournament, which brings together the champions of all six soccer confederations.
Speaking after winning his 15th career trophy with Read Madrid, Ancelotti, who on Tuesday was named men’s coach of the year at the FIFA’s “The Best” awards, said, “Very happy, it’s a triumph,”
“We didn’t get off to a good start but finished well, showing great attitude.”
