Soludo said the retreat was to bring the political office holders and others up to the speed required of them in serving the state and to get them to internalise the core vision of his administration, in order to function effectively.

Commending Fashola for accepting to give Anambra government officials the rudiments of governance, Soludo said: “I am most grateful to our resource person, His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola, for availing us his wealth of experience as a former Governor of Lagos State, who led mind-blowing public sector reforms in the centre of excellence.

“For me, it is important that every member of the team internalises the vision, and sees the task of providing a liveable and prosperous homeland for Ndị Anambra, as a collective responsibility.”

The retreat is expected to end today.
