So close were the couple that they coined the name of the business Coscharis, from the aggregation of their first names Cosmos and Charity.
The couple in a bid to give back to their community and state, set up a humongous modern farm in the state in response to the government’s ‘Think Home campaign’ which seeks to create or raise the consciousness of investors from the state about the imperative of establishing businesses at home.
Coscharis has one of the largest farms in the Southeast geopolitical zone, and it is located in Anaku in Ayamelum LGA. The farm has a sophisticated irrigation system, which enables it to engage in both rainy and dry season rice farming.
They also established a $300m Coscharis Rice Mill, at Igbariam, Anambra East LGA, The mill was commissioned by Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State and Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, on October 2, 2019
