ANA announces Fellowship nominees for 2022

The ANA said it hoped the nominees would accept their nominations in good faith and continue to render the selfless service that is the basis for the Fellowship nomination.

National Secretariat of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has released the list of ANA Fellowship nominees for 2022.

General secretary of ANA, Maik Ortserga, said in a statement released over the weekend that the association considers it a rare privilege to be linked with the nominees for their contributions to the growth of literature over the years.

A total of 18 persons made the fellowship nominees’ list while three got invitations for honorary fellowship.

The statement said, “The National Secretariat of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) is, hereby, pleased to release the list of ANA Fellowship nominees for 2022. ANA considers it a rare privilege to reckon with the nominees’ enormous investment, participation, and outstanding contributions to the growth of Literature over the years. We have come out with the list after a thorough assessment by a committee set up for the purpose.”

The names are as follows: Prof. Abdul Rasheed Na’Alla, Prof. Anaezi Okoro, Prof. Moses Tsenongo, Prof. Razinat Mohammed, Prof. Udenta O Udenta, Engr. Emmanuel Frank-Opigo, Dr. Emmanuel C S Ojukwu(CP Rtd.), Dr. John Asien, Miasonima Minima, and Prof. Nduka Otiono.

Others are Prof. Vicky Sylvester, Lindsay Barret, Prof. Tess Onwueme, Prof. Yusuf Adamu, Dr. Tony Marinho, Prof. Mark Nwagwu, Prof. Dul Johnson, and Prof. Amanze Akpuda.

The honorary fellows include Prof. Chidi Osuagwu, Dr. Zainab T. Ahmed, and Engr. Abubakar Maigandi.

“We hope that the nominees will accept their nominations in good faith and continue to render the selfless service that is the basis for the Fellowship nomination,” the statement added.
