Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim, has replied to a comment credited to club legend, Gary Neville following the goalless Premier League draw with Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Although Manchester City dominated possession during the match, none of the teams claimed the needed three points.

The display from both teams infuriated Neville, who minced no words in criticizing both sides’ lack of willingness to take the initiative.

Speaking on Sky Sports commentary, the former Man United defender said,  “They’re all so obsessed with shape… nothing off-the-cuff is happening in lots of games… This has got to stop…”

Asked to comment on Neville’s remark after the encounter, Amorim said he hardly sees anything good in others.

He said, “I understand. I understand that Gary Neville is critical of everything!”

The draw meant that Manchester City remained in fifth position in the league, behind Chelsea, who also drew 0-0 with Brentford in an earlier game.

With seven games to go, United stayed 13th, with 38 points from 31 outings.
