AMCON takes over ex-Governor Ahmed’s mansion over N5 billion debt

Former governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has lost some of his houses to the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) over a N5 billion debt. 

Ahmed, an associate of former senate president, Bukola Saraki, lost some of his houses located at Abdulrazaq road, GRA, Ilorin. 

 AMCON spokesman, Jude Nwauzor, said AMCON   is currently preparing a statement to announce the seizure of the houses, according to a report by Sahara Reporters.

He said the debt was a personal one by the former governor.
