Popular Nollywood thespian, Alexx Ekubo has finally reacted to the public apology issued to him by model and ex-fiance, Fancy Acholonu.
The Nigerian-American model got the internet buzzing after making a drastic U-turn on Thursday, December 29, 2022, apologising to Alexx and his family for calling off their engagement in 2021.
She also told her fans and other netizens that she is wrapping up the year by taking another shot at love, asking him to take her back.
Taking to her Instagram page Fancy after tendering a heartfelt apology to the movie star, shared a picture of when things were rosier between them.
She went on to say her heart still belonged to the actor as losing him “felt like grief.”, she also admitted she handled things poorly and overreacted.
She wrote, “Like our shirt says, Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt & pain you and your family went through with our break up.
“My actions in how I handled things was out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not been so over reactive. I said too much, I did too much. Please forgive me, I’ve learned my lesson on how to handle situations better.
“I haven’t expressed myself properly. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and say you, your family, & friends still mean the world to me. Losing you has felt like grief. Love heals #FalexxForever.”

Reacting to her public apology, Alexx took to her comment section to acknowledge the post, he also prayed for her.
He wrote, “I appreciate the apology. May God bless us all”.
In August 2021, Fancy Acholonu called off her three months engagement with the actor.
Confirming their breakup, Fancy Acholonu took to her Instagram page to plead for privacy. According to Fancy, she broke up with him because they both needed to find happiness and live in their truth.
