Real Madrid defender, David Alaba has said he and his teammates are keen on defeating Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final so that they can play in the final in Paris.
The 32-year-old, who was once coached by Citys’ coach, Pep Guardiola hinted he will be out to frustrate his former boss during the encounter.
Alaba, who said he has not been in contact with Pep for a while, has been a revelation in defence since signing for Los Blancos from Bayern Munich in the summer, filling the leadership vacuum left behind by Sergio Ramos.

He is expected to have a big role to play in the two legs of the UCL games against the Premier League leaders.
“We haven’t been in contact lately, but it will be lovely to see Pep again,” Alaba explained in interview with Bild.
“We had a wonderful time together at Bayern. However, it’s all about frustrating him this time.
Alaba is one of the few members of the Real Madrid squad to have won multiple Champions League titles.
He hopes to bring the experience to bear when his team face the club from the blue half of Manchester.
He added, “We have to prepare perfectly.
“Naturally, our goal is to get through to the final and, if you get there, you want to win it as well.
“We have two games first against an extremely strong opponent.
Alaba also made a comparison between his current teammate, Karim Benzema, who is currently in the best form of his career, and his old teammate, Robert Lewandowski.
“Benzema has always been world class, but he has improved even more,” he continued.
“Lewandowski? No defender likes to play against him.”
