Pastor Mrs. Folasade Bimbo Akintola (née Falade), the Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, stands out as a compassionate administrator, a dedicated leader, and a woman of deep integrity whose service continues to make a remarkable impact on the institution.

As the current Registrar, she demonstrates an uncommon commitment to the welfare of staff and retirees. One of her most touching initiatives is her thoughtful gesture toward retired members of staff during the Christmas season. At a time when many retirees often feel forgotten, she ensures they are remembered by providing them with food, drinks, and financial support.

This act of kindness brings joy and relief to many families and clearly shows her genuine appreciation for those who dedicated years of their lives to serving the institution.

Remarkably, this initiative is the first of its kind in the history of the polytechnic.

Another historic achievement under her leadership is the promotion of all staff members who are due for promotion. This milestone is particularly significant because such a comprehensive promotion exercise has never happened in the history of the polytechnic. By ensuring fairness and recognizing the hard work of staff, she boosts morale, restores confidence in the system, and demonstrates the positive outcomes of her massive conversion efforts.

Her leadership style reflects fairness, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. Rather than focusing solely on administrative routines, she prioritizes people, believing that the growth of an institution depends largely on the wellbeing and motivation of its workforce.

The Rector of the institution, Engr. Dr. Temitope John Alake also deserves praise, having given full approval for her initiatives, highlighting the trust and respect she has earned at the highest levels of leadership.

For these reasons and many more, she deserves recognition, appreciation, and praise for the positive legacy she is building within the polytechnic community. Her work stands as a shining example of how leadership can transform lives and institutions.
