The Convener of the Social Rehabilitation Gruppe, Dr Charles Oludare Marindoti, has congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his victory in the Ondo State governorship election.
According to Marindoti, Aiyedatiwa’s victory is a testament to his dedication, leadership, and vision for the state’s future.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, on Sunday, declared Aiyedatiwa, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, as the winner of the Ondo State governorship election held on November 16, 2024.
“I was confident that you would win the elections, and it’s thrilling to see our trust in you validated. Your campaign promises resonated deeply with the people, and i eagerly await the positive changes you will bring to our dear state.
“As you continue the responsibilities of your office, please know that you have our full support. We have high hopes for your tenure and are excited to witness the impactful decisions you will make”, he said
Also, a former Senior Special Assistant on Union Matters, Hon Femi Bosede, has
described Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a true reflection of the wishes of Ondo State people.
He said the INEC also deserves plaudits for the credible conduct of the polls. “I say a big congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa and his deputy, Olayide Adelami, on their victory at the just concluded Ondo State governorship election. I wish the duo a successful tenure.”
Similarly, the Forum of Former Political Appointees (FFPA) has warmly congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa, saying that the outcome of the election was a clear endorsement of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and achievements so far in the state.
The forum lauded Aiyedatiwa’s leadership qualities, saying that his victory reflected the trust and hope placed in him by the people of the state.
“Our total support for the candidature of Aiyedatiwa stemmed from his impressive antecedents and pedigree in delivering developmental projects towards the uplift of the state”, it added
