Aiyedatiwa to present staff of office to new Ajana Afa of Okeagbe, Oba Mofolorunso Arasanyin August 22

The new Ajana Afa of Okeagbe Akoko in Akoko North West Local government area of Ondo state, Oba Mofolorunso Samuel Adegboyega Arasanyin is set to receive Staff, Instrument of Office.
The state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro had at a press briefing said that the approval of the candidacy of Oba Mofolorunso Samuel Adegboyega Arasanyin was done at the State Executive Council meeting.
Already, Afa Okeagbe Community is in a joyous mood as everything is being put in place for the presentation of staff of office to the first class monarch.
The ceremony is scheduled to be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 as the State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa approved the presentation of staff of office to the new monarch.
In a statement issued by the Ajana media team at Okeagbe Akoko today, it stated, “to all esteemed members of the community and its neighbourhood, we are delighted to inform you that His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the Governor of Ondo State, will be presenting the Staff of Office to His Royal Majesty, Oba Mofolorunso Samuel Adegboyega Arasanyin, Arole Agba 1, Okeladeokin, Egungunlila , the Ajana of Afa Okeagbe Akoko, Ondo State on 22nd August 2024.
“This significant ceremony marks the official recognition of the King’s leadership and position in the community. It is a momentous occasion that underscores the importance of traditional institutions in our society.
“However, the traditional rights of the king has been actively carried out by the community Elders, Leaders, traditional groups, maidens and youth goups to showcase the acceptance of the enthronement of the new king by the entire community wings.
“It is on this note that the Afa Okeagbe community unanimously appreciate the Governor of Ondo State for his consideration ditto making a new king whose people have been craving for his emergence since the departure of the Late Monarch
“We therefore invite everyone to attend and witness this historic event. Please join us as we celebrate this milestone and show our respect to our Monarch.
