Aiyedatiwa while eulogizing the late SSG said the history of Ondo State will not be complete without mentioning Oluwatuyi

Ondo State governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has declared a three-day mourning period in the state following the demise of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Hon Temitayo Oluwatuyi aka Tukana.
He made this known when he led members of the State Executive Council on a condolence visit to wife of the late Oluwatuyi and members of his family, in Akure, the state capital.
TheNiche had earlier reported that the late SSG died on Saturday while receiving treatment in a hospital after he was involved in a car crash last month.
Speaking during the visit, Aiyedatiwa said the Oluwatuyi lived a fulfilled life and made positive impacts on many people.
He added that the late APC chieftain was a recurring decimal in the politics and governance of Ondo State, adding that the history of the state would not be complete without a mention of his impacts.

He went on to describe him as a complete gentleman who conducted his public and private life with decorum and humility.
In the condolence register, Aiyedatiwa wrote, “Hon Tayo Oluwatuyi, you came, you lived, you performed your God-given tasks and impacted lives. You have decided to leave us at a time we never expected but God said it is time to come home. May you have rest at the bossom of your creator, God. Amen.”
Also speaking about the late SSG, former Ondo State governor, Olusegun Mimiko said he was a leading light in Akure land and a reputable political leader loved for his gentle and calm disposition.
“Sad as the loss is, we all have to accept the fact that the deceased has finished his earthly race, though too early in all ramifications. All we can do is commiserate his family, nuclear and extended, the Ondo State Governor and Government and indeed all those who genuinely feel his demise.
“In all the instances of our political engagements, Tuykana, as he was fondly called, epitomised cool calmness, humility and all round comportment.
“Hon. Oluwatuyi was a dedicated public servant whose unwavering commitment to his people and dedication to duty was self evident.” he said.
