Aisha Yesufu also accused the main opposition party, PDP, of treating Nigerians like lepers while in power

Huma rights activist and popular influencer, Aisha Yesufu, has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as a threat to other opposition parties.
She made this known in a post she shared on her official X page, where she also claimed that PDP was destroyed in 2014 after treating Nigerians like lepers
She went on to allege that the Nigerian main opposition party’s members believed that their party was untouchable.

Speaking via her verified social media handle, Yesufu tweeted, “The same PDP we were attacked for is the PDP you now know is destroyed?
“PDP was destroyed since 2014! They believed they were untouchable and treated Nigerians like lepers.
“Anyway na when person wake up be im morning. Let me repeat! PDP is a threat to opposition.”
PDP after ruling Nigeria for 16 years lost the 2015 presidential election to the then APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.
Since then, the party has been embroiled in a leadership crisis with many of its chieftains accusing the party’s interim chairman, Umar Ilyas Damagu of working for the ruling APC.
