Air Peace has dismissed as false and malicious a social media report alleging a plane crash involving one of its aircraft in the Western Sahara region.
In a statement issued on Friday by the airline’s head of corporate communications, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, the company clarified that no such incident occurred and denounced the claims as baseless.
The report, which falsely alleged fatalities, including the death of a prominent individual, was described as entirely untrue.
“We categorically state that this information is false and malicious.
