Agatha Amata set to launch Rave TV

-

Agatha Amata, host of Inside Out talk show, is set to launch Rave TV on Saturday, August 8.

To be declared open by the Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, the event will also have wife of the Lagos State governor, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola, as mother of the day.

Amata made this known during a press parley at her purpose-built, multi-million naira, state of the art Rave TV studious in Ilupeju, Lagos.

Rave TV is independent and is to fill the vacuum of the regular stereotyped programmes prevalent on other television stations. Rave TV is African, accessible to all and is going to be interactive as there would be life shows.

Being in a digital era where everything is done virtually on the social media, Amata said, Rave TV has created a platform where everybody can be a participant. Such people can stream whatever is going on in their environment live.

Amata stated further that people who are starting out and are sure of the kind of content they have will be giving an opportunity to showcase their talents without pay. Of course, there will be terms, but “if your content is good, it will make sense, Rave TV is not about your money”.

The station, which began test transmissions on Monday, July 22, boasts of the most modern and technologically advanced recording and broadcast equipment and will be open for outdoor productions like music video shoots.

Amata said Rave TV, which will air on Consat and Startimes, is Nigeria’s pre-eminent family channel.

“We will be launching with a full bouquet of programmes from movies to tele novellas, talk shows, lifestyle, and documentaries to children’s programmes. Our flagship live show will be the Morning Rave which will run from 6:30am to 10:30am. We will also have a youth segment in the evenings,” she said.
