Human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has revealed that the President Bola Tinubu-led administration has concluded plans to arraign 76 protesters, out of which 66 are minors in November.
According to the activist, the demonstrators will be arraigned before Hon. Justice Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Speaking via a brief statement on Friday, Adeyanju also noted that the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters will be arraigned after spending 80 days in custody.
He said, “After detaining End Bad Governance protesters for almost 80 days, the clueless Tinubu government is set to arraign more protesters, who are largely minors, as can be seen on the charge herein annexed, on November 1st in Abuja.
“The 66 protesters, mainly minors, are to be arraigned on the 1st of November, 2024 before Hon. Justice Egwuatu, Court 10, 4th floor, Federal High Court, Abuja Division.”
