Popular Fuji musician, Adewale Ayuba, has dismissed claims that he has parted ways with his wife, Ego, after finding out that he is not the father of his children.
He refuted the allegation in a recent statement issued by Bonsue Fuji Entertainment and shared on his Instagram page.
A YouTube channel, ‘Nigerian News’ in a report published last week, claimed that Ayuba discovered his wife’s infidelity act via a secret DNA test.
It went on to say the veteran singer subsequently divorced her following the paternity dispute.
Reacting to the report, Ayuba said the news is baseless and malicious.
While stating that he remains happily married to Ego, the 60-year-old artist noted that their children’s paternity has never been questioned.
Ayuba further vowed to take legal action against the blogger.
The statement read, “We want to state this clearly to everyone who supports Dr Adewale Ayuba, that there is absolutely no truth–not a single iota in this cooked up story.
“For the record, they have been happily married for over thirty years. This is nothing more than a cheap, despicable attempt to embarrass Dr Ayuba’s family, malign his character, and bring his united family to public ridicule. We are currently consulting with our lawyers to pursue all available legal remedies against the irresponsible individual”.
