Nollywood actress, Sarah Martins has called out Nigerian men who leave the upbringing of their children in the hands of their mothers alone, describing them as ‘wicked and cunning’.
The thespian who was angered by the plight of baby mamas in Nigeria, who are left to cater for their kids without support from their fathers, made this known via a recent social media post.
In the post that has since been taken down, Sarah Martins shared a picture of Sophia Momodu, one of Davido’s baby mamas, who had earlier accused the singer of abdicating his responsibility to his daughter.
The actress went on to ask the government to intervene in the matter because women are not supposed to be chasing men around for child support.
She said: “I think it’s high time the federal government of Nigeria puts child support into serious consideration and takes it extremely serious.
“A woman shouldn’t be chasing the father of her kids or kid up and down to take care of her children. It should be his responsibility,”

She also argued that if women had abandoned these kids the way their fathers do, they would have turned out badly.
“Nigerian men are wicked and cunning. Why should a woman be the only one suffering for your kids the moment a breakup happens?
“If women abandon their children the very same way Nigerian men abandon their children, Nigeria will be filled with frustrated children who will eventually grow to become a nuisance in the country and automatically, it will definitely affect the country as a whole,” she added.
Sara, however, pulled the post down after pointing out that it was not meant to shade Davido.
