Mary Njoku wondered why Mohbad’s wife should take a DNA test when the singer never doubted his son’s paternity

Nollywood actress, producer and content creator, Mary Njoku, has labelled those asking the wife of late Afrobeats singer, Mohbad to submit her son for a DNA test as people with ‘evil’ intentions.
Njoku, who is the founder of the ROK TV Channels and CEO of ROK Studios, made this known via a post on her Instagram page on Friday, while reacting to the DNA demand saga.
Following the controversy that greeted the death of Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Record on September 12, 2023, Nigerians including his fans and celebrities have continued to seek justice for the singer.

Some netizens have also begun to demand that the late singer’s wife, Omowunmi submit their 5-month-old son, Liam, for a DNA test to clear herself from those doubting her loyalty to her late partner.
Speaking on the DNA saga, Mary Njoku took to her social media page to state that no one had the right to demand a test from Omowunmi if the late husband never doubted his son’s paternity.
She wrote: “Asking a mourning widow to submit her son for a DNA test is pure evil. She just lost a father to her child, a husband, her Helper and her Protector of over 10yrs. Let her mourn in peace.
“If her husband didn’t doubt the paternity of his child, who are we to think otherwise? Please let’s focus on getting #justiceformohbad.”
