Nollywood actress and movie producer, Mary Njoku has faulted the handling of female passenger forcefully removed from an Ibom Air flight, Comfort Emmanson.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, the thespian described the incident as a gross violation of the passenger’s dignity.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Emmanson was involved in a scuffle with Ibom Air flight crew and ground staff after refusing to switch off her phone during takeoff.
The situation later escalated, and she was forcefully ejected from the plane, leading to her body parts being exposed in the process.
However, hours after the saga, a video of the indecent exposure went viral on social media without being edited.

Reacting to the incident, Njoku said she had no issue with the airline offloading the passenger if necessary but condemned the alleged act of stripping her and circulating the footage online.
Speaking via her verified social media handle, she wrote, “I understand removing her from the plane, that’s not the issue.
“What I cannot understand is stripping her while doing so and then putting it all over the internet,” she said.
“Airline or airport staff are trained professionals, and I refuse to believe that dehumanizing someone, stripping a woman naked, and broadcasting it online is part of that training, no matter what crime she may have committed.*
Njoku further stressed that the passenger deserves compensation for the “damage done to her life and dignity.”
