Actress, Chizzy Alichi defeats Laide Bakare in celebrity boxing match

Chizzy after the win, graciously extended love to her Nollywood colleague, reminding her of the promise to celebrate with champagne

Nollywood actress, Chizzy Alichi got the better of her colleague, Laide Bakare in a recent celebrity boxing bout.

The boxing match comes after the two thespians got into a heated exchange of words on social media

Chizzy during the boxing match sported a red boxing ensemble with gloves, while Laide donned a blue outfit with gloves as they unleashed a series of playful punches.

After the encounter, Chizzy Alichi was declared the winner by the judges after   defeating Laide Bakare decisively.

Taking to her Instagram page after the match, the champion graciously extended love to her opponent, reminding her of the promise to celebrate with champagne.

She wrote: “We WON !!!! About last night, thank you guys for coming out, I appreciate my colleagues and to the organizers of the show, amazing work, Weldone we had fun. My co winner @laidebakare love you and I’m still waiting for my champagne”

The fight reminisced that between another actor,  Charles Okocha and controversial singer, Portable who also resorted to taking to the boxing ring to have their rift settled.

The fight, which was sanctioned by Heritage Boxing Entertainment, held at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State and lasted for about 40 minutes.

Portable eventually emerged the winner of the celebrity boxing fight, but Charles Okocha insisted there was foul play and demanded a rematch.
