Badmus also revealed to her fans that she has been battling the disease for over one year

Popular Nollywood actress, Bisola Badmus, has revealed that she is currently battling a brain disease known as Encephalopathy.
Encephalopathy is a disease that affects the brain, altering one’s mental state and leaving those affected confused and not acting like they usually do.
Speaking via her Instagram page while celebrating her birthday, the thespian who acts more in Yoruba movies said she had been battling the disease for over one year

Badmus also said the disease made her stay away from social media and that while coming to terms with the ailment, she also lost her mother.
Taking to her social media page, she wrote: “Over a year now I have been battling with health issues (Encephalopathy). I cannot even wish my enemy such illness. It was a tough one indeed that made me stay away from social media.
” In between, I lost my precious mother. Unquestionable God, I thank you for everything particularly for me to witness yet another birthday.”
She went on to appreciate her fans, colleagues and family for caring and standing by her.
“I will be an ungrateful soul if I fail to appreciate my family and friends, colleagues in the industry, business associates and the brands I represent for standing by me during the challenging period. Thank you all,” Badmus added.
