Nollywood actor, screenwriter and producer, Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu has gone online to find out why Nigerian politicians start being truthful after they are no longer holding political offices.
Taking to his X page, the thespian who is known for sharing his thoughts on matters that affect the country, sought to know why this is a trend.
According to him, Nigerian politicians only speak the truth after they have left office and are no longer relevant in the scheme of things.

He urged fellow Nigerians to help him unravel why these politicians cannot do so while in office, asking if they were held down by a “demon” after their sworn-in ceremony.
Speaking via his verified social media handle, Ugezu tweeted, “There’s something in Nigerian politics that someone should please explain.WHY IS IT THAT NIGERIAN POLITICIANS WILL ONLY START TALKING SENSE ONCE THEY LEAVE OFFICE?
*Is it that we have demons in all the government offices that blind them once they get sworn in? Nigeria is in a mess and only sincerity in administration can salvage things.”
