Nedu also argued most of the so-called ‘independent ladies’ are mistresses of married men who sponsor their flashy lifestyles

Nollywood comic actor and media personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known as Nedu, has insisted some categories of women are not qualified to be described as ‘independent ladies’.
He also berated such women for labelling themselves as ‘independent’ when they are dependent on men to foot their bills.
The OAP made this known in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch audiovisual podcast co-hosted by him, where he alleged most of the ladies in question are mistresses of married men who sponsor their flashy lifestyles.

He went on to make a case for a few other women, whom he claimed are truly ‘hustling’ for their money and will never sleep with a man to earn any undue advantage.
Nedu said: “Forget all this one that ladies are saying, ‘I’m independent’. My aunty, for you to open that shop, you collected money from five different men. And you are calling yourself independent. You are not.
“You should not be in that category. There are hard working ladies who toil and hustle for contracts. And when people want to disturb them, ‘You’ll have to sleep with me.’ They walk out of the office.”
