Adeniyi Johnson made the appeal after Trinity Guy was remanded in Agodi correctional facility in Ibadan by a magistrate

Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson has appealed to the police to ‘temper justice with mercy’ in the case involving skit maker, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, aka Trinity Guy, who allegedly sexually exploited a 10-year-old girl.
The thespian made the appeal via a post on his verified Instagram page on Monday, June 26, where he also admitted that some of the skits by Trinity Guy are wrong.
Adeniyi Johnson while begging the police and other related agencies, also asserted that the skit maker was only looking for what to eat but unknowingly fell on the wrong side of the law.

Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote: “Dear Nigerian police force and every other related agencies!!! many of us agree that our brother did what is wrong and absurd!! All I am pleading for is to TEMPER JUSTICE WITH MERCY A.. please @iamtrinityguy is a young man looking for what to eat legally but he incidentally fell on the wrong side of the law!!! Please be merciful as I know he has learnt already @nigerianpoliceforce.”
Prior to this, TheNiche had reported that a Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku, Ibadan, in the Oyo State capital remanded the skit maker in Agodi correctional facility after he appeared in court on Monday.
The court also remanded Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat, 29, who are parents of the 10-year-old victim on two-count charges of conspiracy and sexual abuse and exploitation.
The Magistrate thereafter adjourned the case till July 11.
