Zlatan Ibrahimovic puts AC Milan ahead in the 26th minute after curling a direct kick into the net with his right foot.

The Swedish striker thought he had doubled the away side’s advantage in the  50th minute, only for the goal to be ruled out by VAR.

AC Milan’s second goal finally came seven minutes later, after Roger Ibanez tripped Ibrahimovic in the penalty box, and Franck Kessie scored from the penalty spot to make it 2-0 to the away side.

Theo Hernandez was given the marching order by the referee, Fabio Maresca, in the 66th minute after receiving a second yellow card for a Technical foul.

Roma were more dominant at the goalmouth, but could not score despite having 9 shots on target and the numerical advantage.
