A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of launching the attack that killed at least eight people, injured 45 and abducted many others on the Abuja-Kaduna train.

TheNiche had reported how the spiralling security challenge facing Kaduna State took a turn for the worse on Monday, March 28 when terrorists attacked the Kaduna-bound train from Abuja with explosive devices planted on the rail track and then opened fire on the passengers.

The train was said to be conveying well over 900 people when the attack took place almost at the same time the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, was addressing a press conference in Abuja claiming that Nigeria was becoming safer every day.

While the passengers who survived the attack said the terrorists were most likely Fulani militia, Joe Igbokwe claimed PDP agents masterminded the attack.

He said via a Facebook post: “Their thieving PDPigs were in power for 16 years and they could not even build one Station. Now see what the hediots are doing with heavy projects that took Nigeria billions of dollars to build. Something is wrong with us . Yesterday attack was on our Railways in kaduna and today is on our  Abuja Stadium. Watch out, the hediots may go to bomb  2nd Niger Bridge to win elections in 2023. Awon werey gbogbo.”
