Hiba Abouk, Spanish actress and ex-wife of Abouk, Paris Saint-Germain defender, Achraf Hakimi has argued she was richer and more popular than the football star when they started dating back in 2018.
The divorce process between the duo has made headlines in recent weeks, because of the apparent economic claims.
French media had reported that she was asking for 10 million euros from the PSG player, although he is only considering giving 2m.
Following the news, social media commentary has been critical of Abouk. So, Spanish journalist and Pundit, Maria Patino while seeking clarifications send the mother of two a message on her cell phone.
She asked: “It’s amazing that they consider you to be financially motivated.”

Reacting to the text message, the actress responded clearly and forcefully, saying she was richer and more popular than the Moroccan.
“It is a macho and misogynist world considering that when we started our relationship he did not earn money and I was better known than him. Imagine that,” said Abouk.
She went on to say she had remained discreet about the incident out of respect for her family, saying she believes in ‘justice and common sense’.
She added: “The good thing is that I am no longer affected by what they say, she said. “I want to be discreet so that tomorrow does not affect our family. I trust in justice and common sense, which are on my side.”
