Abia Gov. Alex Otti to deliver TheNiche Annual Lecture April 23; Emir Sanusi II to chair

The fifth edition of TheNiche Annual Lecture, organised by TheNiche Foundation for Development Journalism, will feature Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, Governor of Abia State, as guest speaker.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It will be chaired by His Royal Highness, Muhammadu Sanusi II, Emir of Kano.
According to a notice issued by Ikechukwu Amaechi, publisher and editor-in-chief of TheNiche, the lecture will embody TheNiche’s distinctive focus on development journalism and critical national discourse.
Previous editions of TheNiche Annual Lecture have consistently featured some of Nigeria’s most prominent figures, delivering thought-provoking addresses on governance, economy, security, and societal issues.
