The controversy over the claim that Dr. Abel Damina, founder and President of Abel Damina Ministries International ordained General Overseer of Dunamis Church in Abuja, Pastor Paul Enenche as pastor appears to have been rested.
Abel Damina, a fiery preacher, had in one of his teachings revealed that he ordained Enenche as pastor and even gave him the direction to set up his ministry in Abuja instead of traveling abroad with his wife for Masters Degree programme which was their plan.
Damina however came under attack from Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries who initially faulted the claim.
Ibiyeomie later accused Damina of being envious of Enenche.
But during the Honest Bunch podcast aired on Monday, Damina said he ordained Paul Enenche as pastor in February 1996 in Jos, Plateau State at a church ceremony attended by Bishop Isaac Idahosa who was the Vice Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election and gospel music star, Panam Percy Paul.
He said when Enenche started his church in Abuja, he was invited to preach at some of the church events.
He said it was a surprise to hear Ibiyeomie denying that history and even calling him a rat.
