The Athletic Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has extended invitations to all States Sports Councils, Institutions and Athletic Clubs for its open trials for the 12th All Africa Games in Rabat, Morocco.
The All-Comers trials which holds between April 5-6 at the Gateway Stadium in Ijebu-Ode will be used to select athletes for Games in August.
In a statement made available to TheNiche newspaper and signed by AFN scribe Ademu Elijah, the federation directed all entries to get to the secretariat before the All-Comers trials as no entry would be received at the venue of the competition.
AFN however warned that under no circumstances should States, institutions and clubs be admitted for the competition without paying affiliation fees.
The competition is coming days before the start of the outdoor season which begins in May.
Ijebu-Ode had played host to.most of AFN senior and junior competitions in the past owing to its central position in the South West.
