Kanekalon set to appreciate true African beauty

Kanekalon has announced the launch of Miss Kanekalon beauty pageant.

 

The contest, which is a platform to appreciate true African beauty, aims to crown a true beauty whose splendor goes beyond looks, extending to her personal talent that shines through.

Interested applicants are expected to go online Kanekalon’s new Facebook page “Kanekalon Africa” or obtain forms at selected hair salons. Forms can also be gotten during road shows, which will take the train to universities, Yaba market, Ikeja and other popular braiding points.

 

Twenty finalists would be selected from regional screenings to be held in Port Harcourt on September 20 and Lagos on October 11. The grand finale comes up in Lagos on November 14 where the first Miss Kanekalon will be chosen and crowned.

 

The winner of Miss Kanekalon will be rewarded with N2 million, a slot in a television commercial (TVC) and a car (or take a trip to Japan) worth N3 million.  She will also receive Kanekalon products for a year.

Runners-up and their stylists will also receive fantastic prizes.

 

Kanekalon, launched in the Nigerian market since 1987, has continued to contribute to the beauty of Nigerian women through innovative fibre such as Afrelle, Aquatex, Futura.

 

Since 2010, Kanekalon has been offering exciting events for women from ‘Salon Storm’ where the mini ambassadors of Kanekalon visited salons to spread news of 100 Kanekalon products, year-end fan appreciation events like Kanekalon Night of 1,000 braids, Kanekalon Hair Show and so on.

 

The range of glamorous TVCs over the years has also created much talk among women who appreciate classy, high quality and safe hair extensions.
