A businesswoman and community leader in Iroko, Ijero-Ekiti, Lydia Ariyeke Ayoola Adeboboye, is dead.
A statement by the family said the deceased passed on in her sleep in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State on Sunday, July 6 aged 85.

A committed Christian until her death, the late Mama Adeboboye is survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren including Comfort Ajayi, Kehinde Adeboboye, Tope Adeboboye, Features Editor of The Sun Publishing Limited and Dupe Ise-Oluwa.
Burial arrangements will be announced by the family in due course.
