Nigerian gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba has finally reacted to the news of the demise of his colleague, Olayemi Bolaji, better known as Toluwanisings.
Speaking for the first time on Sunday since his passing, the artist said in a post on his Facebook page that Toluwanisings’ death had left an immeasurable void.
Toluwanisings reportedly collapsed in his home and was confirmed dead at the hospital a day after making an appearance at Olaoba’s worship service in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Reacting to his death, Olaoba said he would have held him “a little longer” if he had known that was his last performance on earth.
He also admitted he would have given Toluwanisings all night to sing and hugged him tighter if he had premonition of his passing.
Speaking via his verified page, he said: “If only I had known that your last ministration would be your final one before you joined the saints in glory, I would have held you a little longer, embraced you a little tighter, and given you the entire night to praise your God and pour out your heart before Him, just as you loved to do.”
Olaoba further added that despite the fact that Toluwanisings’ time on earth is over, his “ministry lives on.”
