Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsí has said he and his teammates know the threat posed by Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen and will do all within their power to ensure he is well marshalled when both teams clash in the UEFA Champions League (UCL).
He made this known on Monday while addressing journalists at the pre-match press conference for the eagerly anticipated encounter.
Galatasaray will host Barcelona in the Champions League matchday two clash at Rams Park on Tuesday evening.
Osimhen, if fit, is expected to start the match and pose a significant threat to the defence line of the La Liga giants during the European fixture.

Speaking ahead of the game, Cubarsí acknowledged that the Nigerian international is a handful because he “knows what he wants to do in attack”.
He, however, assured Barça fans that they will try their best to ensure he doesn’t have a good game or cause them trouble, despite playing in front of the home crowd.
“In my first match a few years ago, I played against Victor Osimhen. We expect to face an opponent who knows what he wants to do in attack,” the Spain World Cup winner said.
Cubarsí added, “It will be clear that they are playing at home. Osimhen is one of the best forwards in the world.
“We will do our best to ensure he doesn’t cause us any trouble tomorrow night.”
