Keith Andrews traces Brentford’s 3–0 win over Chelsea to team’s discipline

​Brentford manager Keith Andrews has said his team’s discipline without the ball helped them beat Chelsea 3–0 in a Premier League fixture played on Friday night.

​The Irish tactician made this known after the highly intriguing London derby at the Gtech Community Stadium while speaking to Sky Sports.

​Andrews watched as Brentford won the fixture convincingly, thanks to three second-half goals from Jaidon Anthony, Igor Thiago, and Fábio Carvalho.

​Speaking after the match, Andrews insisted that his players were very good against Chelsea and were disciplined against the visitors.

​He also praised his players’ “humility and hunger” during the match, promising that the group will “continue to get better”.

​“We had to be disciplined without the ball given the amount of talent they have, and I thought we were very good tonight.

​“I see a humility and hunger within the group, and we can challenge each other. We have to continue to get better in this league,” Andrews stated.
