Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of Nigerian politician and federal lawmaker Ned Nwoko, has caused a buzz online after posting a sun-soaked family vacation video alongside her husband and their children.
She shared footage of the family beach getaway on her Instagram handle over the weekend, right in the middle of swirling reports about a potential reconciliation between Nwoko and his actress wife, Regina Daniels.
In the video, the Senator representing Delta North district in the Nigerian Senate was seen with the Moroccan beauty and their kids as they chit-chatted and enjoyed quality family time.
Sharing the clip, Charani reflected on the value of slowing down and being present with the people she cherishes most in her life.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “Somewhere between the busy days and beautiful destinations, there is always time for the moments that matter most.
”Grateful for this beautiful escape with my husband. Our family, sunshine, laughter, and plenty of new memories to take home. This is one of the reasons I love to travel. It gives us the chance to pause, reconnect, and experience life somewhere beautiful.”

However, the timing of Laila’s post has set tongues wagging, with many netizens noting that it came shortly after rumours surfaced suggesting Regina Daniels had made a surprise return to Nwoko’s life.
While some IG users hailed the family reunion and praised the couple for initiating it, others wondered where the Nollywood thespian was while the precious family moment was taking place.
An Instagram user identified as @egoyibo_mercy said: “Fine woman with her heavenly baby.”
Another netizen @esychizzy noted: “But Epa is a very good family man and father.”
