​Arsenal midfielder Bruno Guimarães has admitted that his teammate, David Raya, is the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment after helping the Gunners to navigate a physical and tricky encounter against Sunderland on Saturday, saying, “He’s unbelievable.”

​He made this known on Saturday while speaking to TNT Sports after the game played at the Stadium of Light.

​Raya was in top form against Sunderland during the fixture, making several saves—most notably stopping a penalty—as Arsenal secured a vital 2-0 win.

​Goals from new acquisition Guimarães and Bukayo Saka in the second half gave Mikel Arteta’s men all three points against the hosts at their home ground.

​Asked if Raya is the best goalkeeper in the world, the Brazilian replied: “Yes, definitely.

​“He made some very good saves that kept us in the game.

​“Unbelievable moment to save that penalty, and I think after that we had confidence to play forward and we scored a goal. But yeah, everything because of this guy, he is unbelievable.”
