Arsenal midfielder Bruno Guimarães has admitted that his teammate, David Raya, is the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment after helping the Gunners to navigate a physical and tricky encounter against Sunderland on Saturday, saying, “He’s unbelievable.”
He made this known on Saturday while speaking to TNT Sports after the game played at the Stadium of Light.
Raya was in top form against Sunderland during the fixture, making several saves—most notably stopping a penalty—as Arsenal secured a vital 2-0 win.

Goals from new acquisition Guimarães and Bukayo Saka in the second half gave Mikel Arteta’s men all three points against the hosts at their home ground.
Asked if Raya is the best goalkeeper in the world, the Brazilian replied: “Yes, definitely.
“He made some very good saves that kept us in the game.
“Unbelievable moment to save that penalty, and I think after that we had confidence to play forward and we scored a goal. But yeah, everything because of this guy, he is unbelievable.”
