Peller confirms Poco Lee’s release from UK prison, says complainant drops case

​Peller, while asserting that Poco Lee has regained his freedom, thanked his accuser for not pursuing the case levelled against him.

​Popular online streamer and TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has confirmed that Nigerian dancer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, alias Poco Lee, has finally regained his freedom following his incarceration in a UK prison.

​The 21-year-old influencer revealed this recently during a livestream when asked by netizens if the vocal artist had been released.

​Poco Lee was recently arrested and remanded in a UK prison, with a plea hearing scheduled for September, following allegations of sexual offences levelled against him.

​However, while responding to a question from a fan, Peller asserted that Poco Lee has been released and expressed gratitude to his accuser for not pursuing the case.

​Reacting to the enquiry, he said: “Yes o guys, Poco Lee is out. They talk say that girl that sue Poco Lee say the girl e run away from the case, say e leave the case. God go bless the girl, na God go bless am, is a good person.”

​Elaborating on how he regained his freedom, the skit maker attributed it to the decision of the woman who accused him of sexual assault to withdraw the case.

​Peller added: “The girl that make Poco Lee go to prison, the girl comot the case, UK lawyer con leave Poco Lee.”

​Peller’s claim, however, has not been independently confirmed or corroborated by the UK courts or prosecuting authorities as of the time of this report.
