Aiyedatiwa appoints more aides, names board chairmen, members

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of a new Special Adviser, chairmen and members of various boards and agencies across the state.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, are aimed at strengthening the administration and ensuring effective coordination of government programmes and policies.
In a statement issued Friday September 11, 2026 by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Governor Aiyedatiwa appointed Mr Femi Fadairo as Special Adviser on Special Duties and Strategy.
Fadairo replaces Hon. Gani Mohammed, who has been redeployed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Mines and Mineral Resources.
The Governor also approved new appointments into the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), with Mrs Brown Ademilegun appointed as full-time chairman.
Other members of the board are Hon. Christopher Olorunfemi, Dr Olarewaju Oyelade, Hon. Tayo Fayanju, Hon. Maurice Oripelaye, representing the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), and Comrade Ayodele Samuel Leke, representing the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), alongside other statutory members.
For the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Pastor Segun Ayerin was appointed Chairman, while Dr Bunmi Eniayewu, Barrister Ogbaro Oyerinde, Mrs Ronke Ojo and Mr Alonge Niyi Dennis were appointed full-time members.
The Governor also approved the constitution of new leadership for the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board, with Alhaji Adam Chandy appointed Chairman.
Other members are Alhaji Muhammad Kamaldeen Akinyemi, Alhaji Akorede Nuren Olatunde, Alhaja Fausat Olorunyomi and Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olawoye.
Similarly, Pastor Peter Abimbola was appointed Chairman of the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board.
Members of the board include Reverend Father Patrick Adebayo, Pastor Mrs Omoyemi Bosede Ore, Prophet Emilere Arabija Aiyedatiwa and Reverend Jide Baptist.
The Governor further appointed Mr Oluyemi Fashipe as Chairman of the Ondo State Consumer Protection Agency.
Adeniyan said Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulated all the new appointees and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by serving the people with dedication, transparency and accountability.
The Governor urged them to discharge their responsibilities in the overall interest of the people of Ondo State, stressing the importance of commitment to the success of his administration
