Sanwo-Olu felicitates Muslims on Eid el-Maulud
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has extended his greetings to Muslims in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid el-Maulud.
He urged them to reflect on the values of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to ensure they are guided daily by those values.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described the Prophet’s life of kindness, compassion, and integrity as a model for peaceful coexistence and societal progress.
He said: “Today, as we mark Eid el-Maulud, I extend my warmest wishes to all our Muslim brothers and sisters across Lagos.
“The life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) remind us of the importance of kindness, patience and compassion towards one another.
“May our homes be filled with joy, and may Allah continue to guide and bless our state and country. I pray for peace, unity, and progress in our State and country.”
