Refiloe Jane, who currently plays for SAFA Women’s League club TS Galaxy Queens, has donned the South Africa jersey 150 times, scoring on 17 occasions.

South Africa women’s national team captain Refiloe Jane has declared that she and her teammates are ready to battle Nigeria’s Super Falcons in a crucial 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup Playoff.
She made this known while addressing journalists ahead of the encounter, which is scheduled to take place at the Moulay Rachid Stadium in Casablanca on Thursday night.
South Africa and Nigeria were knocked out of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in the quarter-finals, missing out on automatic qualification places for the Women’s World Cup.
While Banyana Banyana lost 2-1 to hosts Morocco, the Super Falcons were eliminated after narrowly losing 1-0 to the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.

The two African rivals are now looking to secure a place in the inter-confederation playoffs in Casablanca, Morocco.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Jane declared that they would leave everything on the pitch to achieve their objective.
She said: “It will be a crucial match for the team; we came here with an objective to qualify for the World Cup. We would have liked to qualify the first time, but things didn’t go our way.
“We keep our heads held high; we have another opportunity to do so, so our focus is on the next match, to try and give it our all to continue on this journey.”
The highly anticipated encounter will kick off at 9 pm Nigerian time.
