New Arsenal signing Bruno Guimaraes has pledged his commitment to the English Premier League champions after joining them from Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old left the Magpies’ training camp in La Manga, Spain, earlier this week to finalise his move to the Emirates Stadium following a breakthrough in talks.
The North London outfit later secured the services of the Brazilian midfielder from Newcastle United in a deal worth £75m on Saturday.

Speaking after joining Mikel Arteta’s side, Guimaraes insisted that he would never give up on Arsenal, adding that he would play as a warrior.
“I can pass the ball, run a lot and play like a warrior. I will never give up,” Guimaraes said via Arsenal’s website.
He added, “I will try to help the team, [I’m] good with the ball, composed, very calm, and sometimes I can score some goals and hope to make everyone very, very happy here.”
Guimaraes joined a Newcastle side in relegation trouble in January 2022 and went on to play a crucial role in their improvement in fortunes under head coach Eddie Howe.
The Brazilian became the first captain in seven decades to lift a major domestic trophy for Newcastle after they defeated Liverpool in the 2025 Carabao Cup final.
