Afrobeats singer-songwriter and one half of the now-defunct musical group P-Square, Peter Okoye—also known as Mr P—has levelled another allegation against his twin brother, Paul, and his brother and former manager, Jude.

Speaking in a video currently trending on Instagram, the artist broke down in tears while recalling how the duo insisted that his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, who was his girlfriend at the time, must abort their baby.

He added that he decided to publicly announce the pregnancy himself because he did not want the news to break through someone else.

According to him, he made the announcement during the Soundcity Awards after he and his group received an award.

He further alleged that Paul and Jude later “forged an email to frame” Lola, “claiming the child wasn’t” his and accusing “her of using the pregnancy to trap” him.

Recounting what transpired in the now-viral clip, Peter said: “When I was 27 years old, my girlfriend at the time, Lola, became pregnant. I didn’t want the news to break from someone else, so I decided to announce it myself.

”We attended the Soundcity Awards, and after receiving the award, I dedicated it to God Almighty, our fans, and everyone who had supported us.

”Lastly, I dedicated it to the mother of my unborn child. Immediately after that, Jude and Paul walked out, saying my announcement would ruin our career.

”They insisted that Lola should abort the baby. They even forged an email to frame her, claiming the child wasn’t mine and accusing her of using the pregnancy to trap me.”

Peter Okoye and his wife, Lola, married in November 2013 after dating for about seven years. The union produced two children: a son named Cameron and a daughter named Aliona.
