Denmark midfielder Christian Nørgaard has completed a move to Everton from Arsenal on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The deal for the 32-year-old was announced by the Toffees on Wednesday after he passed his medical.
Nørgaard joined Premier League champions Arsenal from fellow London club Brentford last summer in a deal worth £15 million.
The former Brentford midfielder and captain—who made 20 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions last season—was limited to just seven league starts during their title-winning campaign.

He was left out of the Arsenal squad that lost 3–1 to La Liga club Real Betis in a friendly on Wednesday.
Speaking in a statement following the move, Nørgaard said: “I felt I needed a change and to play a bigger football role.
”When I spoke to David Moyes and others at the club involved in the transfer, I heard about the whole project and I was very intrigued. Coming here just makes that feeling even stronger.
”Also, my past experience of playing against Everton—the whole atmosphere, the fans—is something I really look forward to experiencing as an Everton player. It’s a big, big honour for me.”
